Under the Auspices

Short Introduction
This event is addressed to education professionals [teachers of all levels, School Counsellors, Directors of Education], members and friends of our Community, but
and to scientists from a variety of institutions and scientific fields who offer their work with a high sense of responsibility for the better functioning of society and supporting citizens for healthier living and survival
in our difficult times.
However, it is also addressed to politicians and citizens themselves for their own contribution to the issue of this activity with actions and attitudes that contribute to a healthy
and effective functioning of the institutions of any democracy worthy of the title of this political term and system.
It was decided to dedicate the present conference to the issue of justice, as an eminently important feature of the democracy within which they ought to operate fairly,
and active politicians, citizens and scientists active in social institutions.
For this reason, in this activity we aim to invite citizens, who are active in a variety of roles, to participate as speakers and as participating participants:
as workers, politicians, artists, artists, lawyers, judges, scientists in general and of course, teachers, teacher trainers, pupils, students, students, parents, etc... Politicians will also be invited
representatives of political parties, as long as they have a brief position/position on the International Congress and not to make a sterile advertisement for their party.
The Scientific Committee has drawn up a list of suggested topics from which each presenter/lecturer can choose a topic that he/she wishes to
develop and present in an innovative way at this special event of SY.N.TH.E.SI..
Indicative topics

- Representation of reality by journalists. Questions:
- What reality do they present? What is their truth?

- Experiences of Justice and Lessons of Democracy: An Experiential Exercise in Democracy. The exercise is accompanied by a video presentation.
- Is it all the teacher's fault? If so, should it be the teacher himself who should take the political decision on education and not the minister chosen by each political party?
- The 'stationmaster' is responsible: Investigate and submit in your theatrical performance presentation the results of your research on a 'stationmaster'.
- Murder on Sunday in Agioi Anargyroi: 'The police car is not a taxi'. Inspirational performance.
- "When we are all idiots in the same world, democracy will be perfect...", Giorgio Gaber.
- Representations of verbal or audiovisual violence on the Facebook platform: qualitative and quantitative depictions of violence - online advocacy or promiscuity?
- The exclusion of older people from e-government - causes of exclusion and proposals for inclusion.
- The establishment of private universities in Greece: business opportunism or an opportunity for educational advancement?
- Procedural overload and delay in the administration of justice - The Greek first instance justice system and its relation to the wronged citizen. Problems and proposals.

- Economic underdevelopment and economic growth: the role of the institutional deficit.
- Lack of education: the road to populism?
- The concept of meritocracy: The "heavy" industry of postgraduate studies as a pillar of the pseudo-descriptive model of excellence in 21st century Greece.

DEMOCRATIC ENDGAME
- The 'asylum' of the rulers: who wants to speak?
